Hey there. For a long time, I thought belief in yourself was something you either had or you didn’t. I figured confidence came naturally to some people and I just wasn’t one of them. But over time, I started to realize that belief isn’t something you wait for. It’s a choice you make.
You decide to believe that you’re capable. You decide that you either know what you need to know or that you’re willing to learn. That’s the difference. It doesn’t mean you never feel uneasy or unsure. It means you feel that and you move forward anyway.
Most people go through life doubting themselves. They think they’re not good enough, that they don’t belong, or that they’re going to be exposed as an imposter. I get that. I’ve lived it. But I’ve also learned there’s another way. You can choose to stop reinforcing the belief that you’re not enough and start reinforcing the belief that you are.
This doesn’t happen overnight. That’s why I talk so much about reinforcement. You make the decision to believe in yourself, and then you build that belief over time. You keep showing up. You keep reminding yourself that you’re capable. You surround yourself with content and people who lift you up instead of pulling you back into self-doubt.
That’s what all of this is for. The podcast, the blog, the daily emails… it’s all here to help you keep reinforcing the belief that you can do the things you want to do. You’re not stuck. You’re not behind. You’re just one decision away from a completely different perspective.
You don’t have to wait until you feel ready. You don’t have to wait for everything to line up. You just have to make the choice. Life is moving forward no matter what, so you might as well believe in yourself and see where that leads.
If you want help staying focused and building that belief each day, I’ve got you. Sign up for my daily email and let’s work on reinforcing your mindset together.
