Stop Carrying the Weight of the Past

Hey there. One of the hardest things we face is letting go—whether it's a situation we're currently stuck in or baggage we've carried for years. The truth is, we’ve all been there, and we’ll all be there again. But the key to moving forward is being honest with yourself about your feelings and deciding if you’re ready to let go.

I call this the "I'm Good" strategy. It starts with identifying the situation you’re struggling with. You probably thought of it the moment I mentioned it. Journal your feelings—write them down, audio-record them, or voice-to-text—whatever works for you. This is your time to be open and judgment-free.

Next, ask yourself: Am I good with this? Am I ready to let it go? If the answer is yes, take that step forward. If the answer is no, create a plan to work through it. The path might not be linear, but every step you take helps you reclaim your peace and move closer to living fully in the present.

Letting go is never easy, but it’s worth it. Once you address what’s been holding you back, you’ll feel calmer, clearer, and more in control of your life.
