Owning our insecurities (Post)

We all have insecurities about parts of our bodies. The thing is these are exactly what makes us unique.

In the episode I talk about “and show here” my greatest physical insecurities

I started loosing my hair at 17 and was very insecure until I started shaving my head a decade or so later.

The lower half of my body will always be an insecurity because of the Cerebral Palsy. I walk hunched and in a crouch. Because of the muscle atrophy from not moving as I was designed to, I have next to no butt cheeks. Even though I work my glutes & hamstrings constantly.
Another affect from walking the way I do is my flat and deformed feet.

Even though I’m insecure about these things I love my body and am amazed by what it can do. I look at my feet and see character. My legs and butt are strong and have adapted and are strong and I’ve been comfortable being bald for a while. Part of why I share and show these things to you is that there is freedom in owning your body, all of it. Owning it is a major step towards loving it.

Love every part of your body. It’s remarkable and beautiful just the way it is. 🤗
