Hey there. If I could sit down with 18-year-old me, there’s so much I’d want to say—advice, encouragement, and maybe a few warnings. Life has a way of teaching lessons you never see coming, and hindsight has gifted me a clearer perspective. These are the five things I’d tell my younger self:

Hey there. I believed that we all have the capability to figure things out. Whether it’s navigating life’s challenges, pursuing your aspirations, or truly discovering who you are, I trust that you’ll find your way. This belief fuels every podcast episode and piece of content I create.

Hey there. You’ve heard it before, timing is everything. But is it really? Timing matters, sure, but as I reflect on my own journey, I realize that timing is only part of the equation. What’s equally, if not more, important is how we process and respond to the choices we make.

Hey there. Slip-ups are inevitable. Whether you’re chasing big goals or just navigating the everyday chaos of life, things don’t always go as planned. Maybe you made a choice that didn’t pan out, or maybe you outright made a mistake. We’ve all been there. The key to growth, fulfillment, and contentment isn’t about avoiding missteps altogether—it’s about what you do after they happen.

Regret doesn’t come from a single wrong decision. It comes from knowing deep down what you want but choosing the easier path instead. We avoid confronting ourselves because it’s hard. It’s uncomfortable to admit that we’re not on the right track. But if you don’t take the time to reconnect with yourself, decades from now, you’ll wonder why you didn’t make the change when you had the chance.

It’s tempting to take the easy road, the one everyone says you “should” take. But deep down, we all have that nagging voice telling us where we truly belong. Ignoring it might make today easier, but decades later, it’s the regret that stings the most.
