Creating Space for Growth and Structure

Hey there. I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how I want to structure my content, especially when it comes to podcasting. The Daryl Perry Podcast is still my daily audio journal, and I love that. It gives me a space to process, reflect, and share what’s really going on, not just in fitness or business, but in life overall. That said, I’ve also been recording a lot of replies to comments on social and stockpiling those ideas. It made me realize that there’s a really clear split between what I want this podcast to be and what the Your Level Fitness Podcast should become.

The Your Level Fitness Podcast is coming back in mid-April. The focus over there will be health and fitness. Shorter episodes. Clearer context. Responding to real comments from real people. It’s going to be structured in a way that helps listeners apply these principles in their own lives. And I think that’s where it makes the most sense to keep that part of the message.

This podcast will remain what it’s always been. A space where I document things in real time. Yes, fitness is part of it, but it’s more about the inside out process in life. I’ll share what Heather and I are up to, what I’m working on behind the scenes, what I’m thinking through personally and professionally. I’ll give opinions, updates, tactics, and just keep things flowing.

Right now, I’m in the middle of my own weight loss phase again. After being in maintenance mode for years, things shifted. And when life changes, sometimes everything that used to work just doesn’t fit anymore. I’ve had to reassess my routines, go back to therapy, and build new structure while still giving myself room to breathe. Coping with food is still a part of the picture, but now I’m doing it with more awareness and boundaries.

I believe in starting where you are and building momentum from there. And I feel like I’ve been doing that. I’ve had plenty of starts and stops, but I always come back to center. That’s the foundation. That’s the North Star. Whether it’s fitness, business, or personal growth, I’m proud that I’m building something solid while also being in the middle of my own process.

So if you’re reading this, thank you for being part of it. I’m going to keep showing up and sharing as I go. And if you’re more into the structured fitness and health content, make sure to check out the YLF podcast when it relaunches. Either way, I’m glad you’re here.
