True Kindness Starts With Choice (Post)

Hey there. Are we kind because it’s the “right” thing to do, or are we kind because we choose to be? True kindness comes when we remove the expectation of reciprocation and simply do good because we want to. It’s easy to fall into self-righteousness when we label actions as right or wrong, but the power “and internal peace” lies in making the choice. We don’t know what others are going through, and that’s even more reason to lead with empathy.
